Whitchurch Farmers’ Market is taking place this coming Saturday, 7th March in the pedestrian area at the bottom of the High Street. This month there are some new stalls, including Saddleworth Cheese Company run by Sean Wilson (formerly Martin Platt of Coronation Street fame). Sean is now the only person producing hand-made Lancashire Cheeses in the world and he is a patron of the International Cheese Awards. Sean and Saddleworth Cheese Company will be at the Farmers’ Market from 8.30am to 2.00pm.
So come along and support your local food producers, sample some delicious cheese, purchase tasty pickles and get some crusty bread – can you see where we’re going!!! 😉
