Blackberry Fair 2016 – where music and mayhem bring the streets of Whitchurch alive as the town ‘Dares to be Different’!!

Saturday 1st October 10.00am-6.oopm… and beyond.

2016 sees Blackberry Fair extended – the fun begins early. On Thursday the Community Orchard in Queensway host an outdoor screening of James and the Giant Peach – a quirky animated adaptation or Roald Dahl’s classic children’s story and Friday the Talbot Theatre presents Sing Street (Cert 21A). 1980’s Dublin through the eyes of 14 year old Conor, whose fractious home life forces him to search for a glimmer of hope, found in the mysterious uber-cool Raphina. Sing Street shows us a world where music has the power to turn the turmoil of life into something far greater. With Irish stew and a live performance by Jigsmith included in the price – see below for more details.
