Whitchurch Bowmen

The Whitchurch Bowmen Archery Club are based in the historic town of Whitchurch Shropshire. We are a GNAS affiliated archery club that welcomes new members, of all ages and abilities, to come along and get involved with this gentle, yet challenging sport.

This is a great outdoor activity during the summer months, with regular County and Club competitions taking place between May and September. Club members meet each  Wednesday and Friday evening during the summer to shoot outdoors at the Sir John Talbot School Sports Centre. During the winter months members shoot indoors at the Sports Centre on Wednesday evenings.  Also during the winter months there is an opportunity to shoot outdoors at Field Shoot events.  Take a look at the little Field Shoot video on the ‘Photo Gallery’ page.

The Club run regular beginner courses, so why not come along and give it a try. Beginners courses run for six weeks, and after successfully completing the course you can become a GNAS  (Grand National Archery Society) registered member.
