Whitchurch Young Farmers

National Federation of Young Farmers Clubs (NFYFC) is the largest rural youth organisation in the UK dedicated to young people who have a love for agriculture and rural life. There are 644 Young Farmers’ Clubs in England and Wales dedicated to supporting young people in agriculture and the countryside.

Led by young people, for young people, Whitchurch YFC is part of Shropshire YFC. Young Farmers is for people aged 10 to 26 with a unique opportunity to develop skills, work with their local communities, travel abroad, take part in a varied competitions programme and enjoy a dynamic social life.

You don’t need to be involved in farming to be a Young Farmer – just someone who appreciates the countryside and enjoys rural life.

Whitchurch young farmers is a very active club with around 80 members who are aged between 16 and 27. We meet every Wednesday and our club meeting is held at the Dodington Lodge, Whitchurch. Come along to join Whitchurch YFC to meet new people, learn new skills and for great socials. Whitchurch YFC’s is a great way to socialise from our weekly activities, dinner and dances, the annual ski trip or the AGM!  With such a varied programme of activities, there is definitely something for everyone in Whitchurch YFC!
