On the afternoon of Wednesday 26th August over 20 young people in Whitchurch, aged between 8 to 15 years, took part in a Graffiti Art workshop to create some stunning artwork.
Thanks to Whitchurch Town Council, this artwork is now on display in the Gallery outside the market hall so make sure you pop along to take a look.
Some of the young people gave us some feedback:
“Really good event and I enjoyed being part of creating art for the town” from Emily, aged 12
Hazel, aged 8, said “It was amazing! I enjoyed spray painting for the first time”
Becca, nearly 10, said the afternoon was “good, the best bit was spray painting all the different colours together”
Hattie, aged 8, succinctly said “It was epic!”
Graffiti artist ‘A Unique Art’ coached young people through the techniques of spray graffiti painting. All the young people stayed for the whole afternoon and created another piece of fabulous street art for the town.
