Blackberry Fair this Saturday

Once again the marvellous, magnificent, wild and whacky Blackberry Fair is taking place in Whitchurch this Saturday, 6th October 2018.

The fun and mayhem starts at 10am and runs throughout the day until 5pm-ish, when there will be the usual Carnival of Plenty parade.

There is a programme of events happening through the day, which can be downloaded below, with a helpful map to let you know where the stages are; including:

Civic Centre Blackberry Bash – craft market, messy workshops and ‘Wild Edric’s’ magical tale of lost love.

Blackberry Jam – Featuring Maestro Mr George and ‘Movin & Groovin’ mate Matt, showcasing young talent along with RAMPED mobile skate park and Panic Circus.

Heritage Courtyard Studios “Celebrating Woman” – inspiring women pioneers, artisans and workshops for women of all ages, flower crown making, performances, stalls – come and give thanks for the women in your lives.

It all continues after dark, with fireworks at 7pm and Phase One Steel Band on the Civic Centre stage.  Stay in town, enjoy the local eateries, including new foodies Reubens, Docket 33 and Tasty Tuk Tuk in Watergate Street.
