Beacon Church, now based in the new Watergate Centre, are a thriving Christian church in the heart of Whitchurch, with a desire to reach people with the good news of Jesus Christ and to bring help to those in need both in Whitchurch and the wider area.
The church is affiliated to New Frontiers and the Christ Central group of churches.
The Sunday services are relaxed, open and lively with everyone encouraged to take part and start at 10.30am.
During the week there are groups that meet in homes both during the day and also in the evenings along with clubs for children and youth.
Watergate Centre, not only a home for Beacon Church but a meaningful resource for the whole community, which will provide services and drop-ins that are not currently available in the town.
At other times in the year the church holds a children’s holiday club and a children’s/family activity day along with involvement in such things as Party in the Park and the Blackberry Fair.
