The Whitchurch Singers (WSs) is an informal group for people who simply enjoy singing.
The WSs sing along to karaoke or an piano accompanist. Songs we have learnt include:

- I’d Like To Teach the World to Sing – The New Seekers
- Three little Birds – Bob Marley and The Wailers
Songs we intend to learn in 2023 include:
- Wonderful World Beautiful People – Jimmy Cliff
- Top of The World and There’s a Kind of Hush – The Carpenters
- You Can Do Magic – Limmie & The Family Cooking
Our aim is to take the pleasure of singing into the community to give people the opportunity to reap the many benefits of singing such as: relieving stress, elevating the mood, enjoyment…
All abilities are welcome.
The group meets weekly on a Monday night (please check Events Board or Calendar -Whitchurch Shropshire website for confirmation), at 7pm until 8.30pm in the Watergate Centre 5 Watergate SY13 1DW, opposite Boots.
The entry fee is £3 which includes a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit during a break which also gives members an opportunity to socialise.
