Whitchurch Food & Drink Festival

Whitchurch Food & Drink Festival is taking place at the Civic Centre and in Whitchurch High Street over the weekend of Saturday 16th – Sunday 17th May 2020

The event, which has grown year on year, will showcase over eighty trade stands, both inside and outside the Civic Centre, supported by an Artisan Craft Market in Whitchurch High Street. Sit down and relax in the Food Court with live music and a great choice of delicious hot and cold food. Children can perfect their cookery skills at the Kids Kitchen and there will be live musical performances from a range of talented local artists in the outdoor Food Court. This is a fun, free festival that you really do not want to miss.

We have a packed programme on the cookery theatre with a number of talented chefs already booked in to bring you the best in demonstrations. The Producer Awards are open to both traders and local businesses and the best part – this is a completely free event! There will be lots to try and buy from delicious cakes, bakes and treats, to freshly griddled game burgers and pizzas, homemade fruit preserves to fiery chilli jam, real ale, cider, cocktails, estate grown and bottled wine and prosecco by the glass – Whitchurch Food & Drink Festival really does have something to suit every palette!

The festival will always offer free entry so come along with the whole family to our lovely market town of Whitchurch from Saturday 16th – Sunday 17th  May. Our fantastic foodie festival is a high quality local event, with a few extra special surprises! Once again we look forward to welcoming many of our regular food exhibitors and supporters back this year. We are also searching for high quality crafters to join the Artisan Craft Market which runs alongside the festival. Please email tcm@whitchurchcouncil.uk for more information. The market highlights the work of the local crafters in and around Shropshire.

Rosemary Shrager enjoyed two visits to Whitchurch Food & Drink Festival, she is pictured here on the cookery kitchen in 2018 with representative from Combermere Abbey Estate and Chef Emma Shawcross.
